We are De Heus Kenya. We ware part of Royal De Heus, a Dutch family owned company active in milling for over 300 years. De Heus Animal Nutrition is an international producer of a complete range of compound feed, premixes, concentrates and feed specialties. Our customers are small and large farmers, integrations and dealers. We provide them with nutritional concepts that ensure maximum animal health and optimal performance. Allowing them to feed their poultry, pigs, ruminants and aquaculture every single day. We invest throughout the supply chain to support the development of the agricultural sector.
De Heus has been growing steadily in Africa. It currently produces in Egypt, Ethiopia, South Africa, Ghana and Ivory Coast. It will now add its first dedicated animal feed plant in Kenya.
About the site
We recently bought a site in Kenya near the Athi River. We will be producing feeds for the poultry, ruminants and swine sectors. At capacity it produces approximately 200,000 metric tons of animal feed per year for the Kenyan market. The state-of-the-art factory should be operational towards the second half of next year.
